Code of conduct:
The following code is applicable to all participants during their field practice in India.

 Dress code:

Participants are expected to strictly follow the dress code that is in tune with the local culture. Since they are visiting various organizations it is important that they don't wear clothes that are provocative or hurt local sentiments. There is also a component of safety and dignity to appropriate dressing.

Alcohol Policy:
Consumption of any form of alcohol in the apartment is strictly prohibited. Drug usage of any form is unacceptable.

Behaviour:

Since the project focus is on cultural sensitivity, the participants need to be aware of the host culture - what is allowed in terms of behaviour, what is acceptable and what is a taboo behaviour. The inputs are given in this direction during the orientation and throughout their stay here. Late night parties and loud noise can be very disturbing for the neighbors and this can create problems for the participants' stay.

Going for late night parties to remote places and farm houses with not so familiar people puts students in personal danger. The participants must use their judgment and make choices at their own risk.

Keeping the apartment:

These apartments are hired for the participants. They may receive visitors but none can stay in the apartment without prior permission from the coordinator. All gadgets and equipment must be well looked after and handled carefully. Any damage to property will be recovered from the individual/group.

Attendance:

Attendance to projects and seminars is compulsory. Report writing is an integral part of the project. Preparations and presentations for seminars should be of high quality in terms of its content and analysis.
